Congratulations Joanne Williams of Joco, on your Commendation in the Woman Who Achieves Micro Business Category at the Awards Lunch Sponsored by the Federation of Small Businesses West Midlands Region (FSB).

Joco opened its doors in April 2015 on the outskirts of Nuneaton by owner Jo Williams. In May 2017 the shop moved to the Abbeygate shopping centre where it’s popularity has grown massively.

Offering a huge range of gifts and home accessory, Joco really is the place to treat yourself and others.

Helping local crafters to have a place to sell their makes, through to brand exclusive ranges such as Harry Potter and Disney, we try to cater for all ages and tastes.
We are Nuneaton’s award winning gift shop, offering service with a smile.

Being called onto stage to receive the Commendation was a really special moment for me.

Being recognised as a business woman who has achieved within an extremely difficult industry, with such a huge amount of uncertainty makes the long hours worthwhile.  To have received a Commendation for my hard work is like a huge pat on the back, which when working for yourself isn’t something that happens very often.

I’m looking forward to what this accolade will bring for my business in the future.” Joanne Williams

What the judges said:  A solid business which is performing well despite the current economic environment in a challenging sector.
