I’m Sandra Garlick MBE, a former solicitor turned speaker mentor and visibility strategist, helping solopreneurs and authors go from hidden to high profile. I’m also the founder of the Woman Who brand and the Woman Who Achieves & Solopreneur Awards, now celebrating 10 incredible years of spotlighting and celebrating women in business.
My journey began following divorce, with two young boys to support and no clear plan, just determination. I retrained as a solicitor, built my own law firm, and spent 25 years speaking professionally while running a business. But after breaking my ankle, I had a wake-up moment. I’d lost my passion for law and knew it was time for another reinvention. I always say, if you wake up one morning and no longer love what you do, you have the power within you to change it. I’ve done it more than once.
Today, I mentor women to speak with confidence, tell their story, and build a personal brand that creates real opportunities. I host Mic Drop Moments Podcast, run speaker bootcamps, and lead From Page to Stage, my course for authors who want to use their book as a platform for visibility and sales.
I live with partial deafness, so I know what it’s like to struggle to be heard. That’s why I’ve made it my mission to help others raise their voice and own their space: on stage, online, and in business.
Visibility isn’t vanity. It’s opportunity. And I’m here to help you take it.
Sandra lives in the Midlands and enjoys holidays in Italy, watching live sports and walking her Sproodle.
